Bespoke Examination

                                            Board Training

We work with all the main examination boards to offer subject specific training for GCSE and A Level courses in areas requested by local schools. Hosting in this way helps to reduce the cost to schools in sending delegates out to courses and encourages positive networking between colleagues between schools.
 

Who is this for?

 
Any KS4 or KS5 teacher with specific subject training requirements.

What are the objectives or outcomes?

 
On this programme participants will:
  • Be informed on specific papers or aspects of their chosen specification
  • Be provided with materials that match the training courses hosted at larger venues nationally  
  • Be able to attend at a reduced cost to that of similar training hosted at large cities
 
Recent training in 2017 has included:
  • Edexcel A Level Geography
  • AQA GCSE English Language Effective Exam preparation
  • AQA GCSE Design and Technology
  • AQA PHED3 PE Revision Course for Students

Practical Information

 
These courses can be hosted at any alliance school that is central to the need of delegates.
Training can be offered as half day or whole day training depending on demand and specific requirements.  
When requesting a specific exam board training day please provide three possible dates that would work for your school as a starting point to the planning.

  • Training from lead examiners
  • Exam board representatives

 

Cost

Variable but average cost for a whole day training should not exceed £140
